40 WEEKS!

How far along? 40 WEEKS!
Maternity clothes?  At this point if it fits I wear it
Sleep: pretty much the same
Best moment this week: Because we thought we would have this little one by now we had a weekend with no plans, which we spent relaxing going to dinner and we got a massage.  Good thing this was my first prenatal massage; I may have tried to go every week it was amazing. I also got to celebrate my first mother’s day, which Jon made really special.
Miss Anything? Oh yeah.  I never understood why anyone would want to go into labor but I am officially at that point.  I am ready to have this baby!
Movement: Lots of movement…it is funny how it becomes a part of my day I look forward to.
Food Cravings: We are currently going through a watermelon a week and when I say we I really mean the baby and I.  So yummy!
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: apparently I am having Braxton Hicks contractions I just don’t feel them yet.
Symptoms: I have advanced from the waddle to the cowboy walk.  It took us 45min to walk a mile the other day and I was going as fast as I could.
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl any day now.

Flower from church for the mommies and pics from our 45min mile... maybe it took longer because we watched the sunset.

39 WEEKS

yep still pregnant

How far along? 39 Weeks
Maternity clothes?  Loving maxi dresses
Sleep: More like a collection of mini naps throughout the night
Best moment this week:  I started maternity leave on Monday and promoted myself to CEO of baby/home projects.  The nursery is done (minus a few small details) and ready for Baby Fast.  We have a car seat in our car and our hospital bag is ready to go.  We spent the weekend relaxing and doing all the things everyone tells us we will be missing out on post baby… we went to dinner, saw the Avengers in 3-D and hung out on the beach.  Jon’s class threw us a shower and our weekly dr appt went good. It was a good week!
Miss Anything? Walking without a waddle, running errands without getting out of breath and I can’t wait to get my wedding rings back on.
Movement: Lots of movement and easy to see.  So crazy to watch a foot/arm make its way across your stomach.  Jon is convinced that it looks just like the movie Alien
Food Cravings: Loving watermelon go figure.
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: Not that I am aware of :)
Symptoms: I have them all now, swollen feet and hands, a sweet waddle, super hot all the time and getting up without help is a process.
Looking forward to: Meeting our baby girl!!! This has gone by so fast.

 Shower at Jon's school.
This is Chloe she loved touching the baby and even asked if I could lift up my dress so she could see the baby, if only getting the baby was that easy.  She is so stinking cute!

37 WEEKS

How far along? 37 Weeks (we are now considered full term.. how did that happen?)
Maternity clothes?  Yep.  And I am about to out grow the maternity pants.
Sleep: Sleeping good and sleep walking to the bathroom often.
Best moment this week:  We had a great weekly appt.  The baby is still head down and pretty low.  She is weighing in at about 6 pounds and moving a ton.  Over the weekend my good friend Marta came into town and helped me so much with last min baby stuff and brought the cutest assortment of things I will need at the hospital and post baby. I had a great lunch on Saturday with my girlfriends and Jon and I are almost finished painting the day bed in the guest room.  Actually Jon has been doing all the painting, I keep promising this will be the last project before the baby comes J not sure he believes me.
Miss Anything? Wearing my wedding rings…. They no longer want to fit.
Movement: Lots of movement
Food Cravings: Right now I want gummy bears.
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Just a lot more sensitive, any tv show to do with babies or a birth story is guaranteed to make me cry.
Looking forward to: Meeting our little girl! Getting the last details for our hospital bag so we are ready to go.  Finishing the last min projects for the nursery.  And fitting in some date nights and down time before we enter the world of no-sleep.

36 WEEKS

How far along? 36 Weeks. 4 more weeks to go.  28 days left!
Maternity clothes?  Couldn't live with out maternity pants but you can get away with wearing so many non-maternity clothes if you just go a size up.
Sleep: Still sleeping good, just waking up often and flipping sides which isn't the easiest with the growing belly
Best moment this week:  Having family visit us. Going to San Diego for a  shower to celebrate Lisa and her twin boys! Getting our stroller, swing, car-seat and bassinet set up ( now if we just had a place to put it all).
Miss Anything? Not really... people are so nice to you when you are pregnant
Movement: Moving all the time and hiccups at least twice a day
Food Cravings: Still loving fruit and it is impossible to stay away from the sweets
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Pretty sure I got a swift kick to the ribs but luckily the soreness went away after a few days... funny thing is 2 days latter Jon pulled a muscel in his rib too, he has enjoyed all the pregnancy symptoms with me like it or not :).
Looking forward to: Our weekly dr. visit this Thursday.  Having our friend in town this weekend she is going to help us pack our hospital bag...yay! and sewing some pillow cases... with my new impulse buy a sewing machine.

All set up pretty sure this is the baby's house now.

Hope you all had a Great Easter!

How far along? 35 Weeks
Maternity clothes?  Mostly maxi dresses, skirts and workout clothes. Trying to get away with what I have for these last few weeks
Sleep: Still sleeping good
Best moment this week:  It has been so fun to go through all the little baby clothes and get everything ready for this little baby Fast, we are not done but we are closer than we were the week before.  We had our weekly appt and all went well she is head down and happy. Celebrating Easter and having family come visit us.
Miss Anything? Not really. I have really enjoyed the last trimester more than I thought I would
Movement: Moving all the time unless I want you to feel her move.  She must be shy :)
Food Cravings: Still loving fruit and anything sweet.
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: No. Wonder if I will have Braxton Hicks contractions
Symptoms: Just getting so excited to me our baby girl! Can't believe she could be here in 3-7 weeks depending on if she is early or late.  If she is like her mom and dad she will be late :)
Looking forward to: Our weekly appt and getting in as many visits as we can with friends and family before this little one arrives.

The Easter Bunny brought us some visitors Sunday night!
