34 WEEKS

How far along? 34 Weeks
Maternity clothes?  Getting creative with non-maternity clothes. Mostly maxi dresses, skirts and workout clothes
Sleep: Still sleeping good
Best moment this week:  Getting to see family.  Having the most amazing sisters and mom who threw a beautiful shower.  Experiencing how many people already love our little baby.  Watching the kids do an Easter egg hunt and knowing that our little girl will get to join them next year!
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my back
Movement: I look forward to her daily hiccups and squirming.
Food Cravings: have you tried the jolly rancher jellybeans?? So yummy I am surprised I actually had any left to put in the Easter egg for the kidos.
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Feeling the baby growing, pretty sure she is doing stretches in there.  Feeling so blessed to be carrying this little one.  Enjoying being pregnant I wonder if I will miss it when it is over.  Nesting…. the idea of washing and putting away all her clothing sounds amazing.
Looking forward to: Going through all the baby clothes and putting them away. Organizing the nursery.  Going to our appointment this week

Yep!  More pregnant women. ( due dates from left to right 5/5, 5/13, 6/15, Sept & October)

Pregnancy Craving: Green Spinach Smoothie

So what did you crave when you were pregnant?  For me it has been anything sweet but to be honest I crave sweeties even when I am not pregnant. During my 2nd and 3rd trimester I have needed an extra boost in iron so I started drinking these Green Spinach Smoothies and they have quickly become my new obsession. Plus they are sweet so it is a win win!

GREEN SPINACH SMOOTHIE
ingredients

- 4C. Spinach
- 1 Banana
- 1/2C. Greek Yogurt
(you can use whatever flavor/brand you like. I just try to pick the one with the most protein and lowest sugar)
- 1C. Frozen Fruit
(I used mango, but have also tried blueberry & pineapple)
- 1C. Water
- 1 packet of emergency
(if you like a little sour kick)

Throw all the ingredients in a blender once it becomes a smoothie texture you are all set and ready to drink your smoothie!

31 WEEKS

How far along? 31 Weeks ( 21 for Lisa & 29 for Kyra)
Total weight gain: we find out this week
Maternity clothes? Yep. Although the dress I wore to the shower was not maternity and I love Jon’s sweats
Sleep: Still sleeping good getting some “it is time to wake up and eat kicks”.
Best moment this week: We had such an amazing week, my girlfriends from college threw a shower for baby fast and we were so overwhelmed with all the love and gifts this little girl received to say we feel blessed is an understatement.
Miss Anything?  Sleeping through the night without getting up to go to the bathroom
Movement: Still lots of movement I am pretty sure she did a somersault in there last night. It was more of a rolling feeling than a kick
Food Cravings: Still anything sweet and I make anyone who stays with us share in my addiction to spinach smoothies… they really are the greatest thing ever.
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Feeling really good.
Looking forward to:  Our check up this week, Jon’s birthday!! putting away all the fun baby gifts we were given and finding someone to take newborn pics for us. Can't believe she will be here in 9 weeks give or take
Best Tip of the Week: My cousin Kristen told me that some insurance companies will cover breastpumps.  So I called today and felt a little awkward asking but go figure they cover 80%... who knew!

Kyra ( due May 28), Lexi, Jen, Me ( due May 13th), Gretchen ( due June 26th), Katie P, Katie J, Lisa ( due with twins July 18th)

*** All of the amazing pictures were taken by Kyra.  Love them all.

" A baby is a small member of the family that makes love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, the home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for." Quote shared by The Schmoke family

30 WEEKS

How far along? 30 Weeks ( as of sunday 3/4)
Total weight gain: 27 pounds… no longer like this question or the scale at the Dr. Office. Apparently my scale at home is on team Emily
Maternity clothes?  Loving them! Everyone should get a chance to have pants with an elastic waistband
Sleep: Sleeping good
Best moment this week: Going to our dr. appointment and seeing our little munchkin… well most of her is little minus the “rather large head” she already has … definitely a Meyer trait. Going to Tahoe and experiencing the easiest flight we will ever take with our baby she didn’t even cry.  Hanging out with great college friends and their amazing hubbies and just trying to soak in all the amazing baby advice.  To top it off we got to see my Brother and our family for a quick dinner before heading back to LA.
Miss Anything? This is the first year I couldn’t go skiing but relaxing at the cabin was amazing
Movement: Still kicking away
Food Cravings: loving the spinach smoothie, milk, sweets and gummy candy.  Basically anything sweet.
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Not a symptom but love that you get to pre-board a plane when your pregnant who knew there were so many perks.
Looking forward to: The shower this weekend!!!! Can’t wait to see everyone.

Some pics from the weekend....

29 WEEKS

and I am about to squash this sign with the baby bump :)

How far Along? 29 Weeks
Total weight gain: 19+
Maternity clothes?  Trying to fit into what I have for the next 3 months.
Sleep: Still sleeping good but not supposed to sleep on my back and of course that sounds the most comfortable now
Best moment this week: Just knowing that we are going to meet our little girl in less than 11 weeks.  The reality of having a baby is starting to set in.  ahhhh!!!
Miss Anything? Shopping without running out of breath you would think I just ran a marathon instead of climbing up 3 stairs.
Movement: Yep still kicking around can’t wait for our appt this week so we know if that is an arm or a leg or both that is kicking up a storm
Food Cravings: Loving milk can’t keep enough in the house which I guess is a good thing the baby’s bones are developing so she needs all the calcium she can get.  Sweets are still a favorite … I guess I can blame that one on being pregnant
Gender: A baby Girl!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Nesting… Jon asked if the to do list will actually ever be doneJ and just the normal getting up to pee all the time, aching back and feet but I am sure that is just the start of what is to come in the last trimester
Looking forward to:  Our Dr. appointment on Thursday and getting to see friends and family this week/weekend.  This might be our last fun trip before the baby comes!

another best moment this week... smoked ribs yum.
